Brevity, Quill

The adrenaline surges in my veins. With every turn and every pedal. A blue and white helmet nestles atop my forehead. The wheels gain momentum and off I shoot into the morning sunlight, warm and golden. I cut though chilly gusts of air and a smile forms on my face as I cycle into tomorrow, dive into the sunset and submerge into the twinkling twilight. Everything melts into a sweet melody as the cycle dances to the tune of a mechanical rhythm. Beads of sweat and a crooked back later, I stop after the ride. A ride of a lifetime.
