What ifs

Snuggled up with each other
We kept staring at setting sun
‘what if sun and moon are long lost lovers’
I asked ,
‘what if they kiss beyond horizon , away from all intruding eyes’
And he’d say ,
‘trust your what ifs baccha ,
They’re often true’

Of all the names I’ve been called
Baccha was my absolute favourite
It felt almost like home
The one I left along with
Maa k paranthe aur Papa ki daant
And the other one
who puts me to sleep every night
and watch sunsets with me

‘what if we become sun and moon’
I asked again , and
He pulled me even more closer
‘some what ifs don’t come true’

A perplexed me and
A frigid him
Kept staring at now darkening sky .

  1. This design is spectacular! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start
my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.

    Too cool!
